Severe Chronic Insomnia – What Is It?

Severe chronic insomnia is actually a prolonged case of chronic insomnia. Insomnia is a sleep disorder that occurs to many people. Severe chronic insomnia is called severe because of the length of time that the insomnia occurs to a certain individual. Symptoms Of Severe Chronic Insomnia

The symptoms of most types of insomnia are highly similar. If you have it, you don’t get to sleep, wake up constantly in the middle of the night, and you are irritable and unable to concentrate and think clearly in the daytime. Severe chronic insomnia may have more severe symptoms but still the same ones. The amount of sleep a person gets affects how severe the symptoms are.

You might even be able to nap a bit during the day so that you can make up for the sleep you didn’t get the night beforehand. Regardless of the type of insomnia, this symptom is indicative of it. The nap would be shorter and the sleep would still be hard to come by especially the severe chronic insomnia kind. Some people also find themselves staring into space with blank minds and just literally not thinking of anything at all but just absorbing how tired they are. These are dangerous times and people should try to resolve their disorder as soon as possible.
